“Randa, Hadeel and Iman.. Three women from the Palestinian city of Nablus and childhood friends who got related together since an early age to be separated at the threshold of youth after being scattered in different walks of life and after each one of them went her own way to take a different path. Now after twenty years of compulsory separation they are back together again to be reunited around cups of coffee as storytellers after the threads of each one's life has become interwoven with a tale of her own full of volatility between joy and sorrow, peace of mind and heartbreak that brings pretty large lump in the throat..

A tale to be told in front of faces full of passion and eager for the answers to questions that raised itself strongly, where the journey of life took her..? how she got to where she stands..?, A tale that goes through the wall of time to recall, from pure memory, moving past incidents which almost makes you feel such strong emotions that you want to cry.

So we end up with three stories that penetrate deep into the fact that no matter how man painstakingly works hard to master his own life, he cannot master fate as an active force that emerges from time to time to take its course, and no matter how hard he tries to shape his life as he wishes, he sometimes cannot take control of his destiny.

Randa story is an issue, significance and vision, together, in a realistic world as a daughter of a couple who did not fundamentally try to construct a balanced family, or even fake it to be acceptable for the sake of their children. She was a witness to the deterioration of the relationship between her parents, with its concomitant betrayals, conflicts, and quarrels, which distorted her childhood and opened her mind to formed negative and confusing new convictions in marital life.

Hadeel, a prematurely national activist.. and that is the secret of her amazing character, she grew up throughout the extensive struggle for independence and was driven to join one of resistance movement against Israeli occupation. As a result she was held in solitary confinement, tortured, verbally, emotionally and sexually abused and threatened, During her stay in prison with her sister, we discover a lot about the Israeli practices against Palestinian prisoners and various violations of the human rights involving subjecting them to extreme brutal and violent conditions and depriving them of basic human needs, among those prisoners women who had to give birth in their prison cells and were held jointly with Israeli criminal prisoners, as well..! In this odd circumstance a love story erupted between Hadeel and her lawyer which ended in the sheikh (the religious man) being called to the prison for the consummation of marriage.

Iman's life story started in the familiar way.. A daily life more than ordinary, lacking drama and the elements of conflict and the fundamental thrill.. Happy childhood, school, college, and a love relationship with a colleague.. That is why she represents a large segment of her generation, but she tried to break the fragility of these sects of the familiar by creating a new relationship with another man living in America. In the end, she succeeded in putting the last touches when she chose to marry her first love.
